Privacy policy

What we collect

• Buyers: your name, email, phone, order contents, and a delivery address if you choose delivery or shipping. We share these with the shop you order from so it can fulfill your order.
• Sellers: your account details, shop content, and order history. Your pickup and label addresses are never shown publicly; a pickup address is shown only to a buyer who has paid for a pickup order. The map places shops by ZIP code, not street address.
• Payments: card details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store them.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep sellers signed in, and your cart is saved in your browser's local storage.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used: pages viewed, searches by ZIP code, items added to a cart, and completed orders. These events never include your name, email, phone number, or street address. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and may use Google Analytics, which does.

Signing in and address lookup

If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address. If you sign in by text message, we send a one-time code to your number through Twilio. When you start typing a town or address, what you type is sent to Google to suggest matches.

Who we share data with

Only the services that run Ajinto: Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in, address suggestions, analytics), Twilio (sign-in codes), our hosting and database providers, and our email provider. We don't sell personal information.

Your choices

Email hello@ajinto.com to get a copy of your data or have it deleted. Order records that shops must keep for tax purposes may be retained.
